Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American singer and actress whose dramatic range earned her popular acclaim across a range of genres ranging from period drama to action and thriller. Johansson grew up living in New York City as the daughter an architect and a production company. She and her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. As a young girl of just 7 years old, she started casting for commercials on television. She enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after, and later went to the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to continue her training. In the Off-Broadway play Sophistry she worked with Ethan Hawke. She then appeared in her first film on screen in North (1994), written by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson made her debut in Just Cause (1996), however it was Manny & Lo 1996 that made her famous. The film tells the story of two girls orphaned by their parents who are running away. The Horse Whisperer (2000) where she was a teenager with a deformity because of an accident earned the film critical acclaim. In Ghost World 2001 (as the teenager who is a cynical outcast Rebecca) Johansson received the attention of a whole new generation. The actress is most famous for her role as Nell Jones (on CBS' famous show NCIS Los Angeles). She is among the principal actors. She's an excellent stage actor. She has delivered astonishing performances in plays like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith started her career in entertainment as a child. It was her love of acting as young. Smith landed a first role in the age of six, with her parents' support. She starred in a TV commercial for Dannon yogurt. The same as other newbie actresses in her position, she honed her skills on the stage. She was involved in various USA productions, while also getting her stage debut with Wildflower. She was a student at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
