Mary Padian, also called The Junkyard Queen or Junkyard Queen or The Junkster is known for her huge antique collection sourced from auctions, storage units and estate auctions. Mary started working at the Architectural Digest Magazine under Paige Rense's direction after earning her photojournalism diploma. She then created the magazine's own Mary Finds' section. Within this section, instructional videos were given on how you can improve and beautify your home. Following her return to Texas she started a business named after her that was a specialist in antiques. A&E Television producer noticed her as she managed her antiques business, and asked her to join Texas Storage War. This show lasted three seasons. As a result of her fame, she was cast in the show's original Storage Wars in its fifth season. Storage Wars has featured her in all of its subsequent seasons. The show has featured her on a few occasions. the show until season 12.
